Impactor handwheels

Globe and stop check valves require higher closing torques than gate valves with the same seat diameter and pressure class. The most economical mechanism for tight shutoff is the impactor handwheel. Two lugs cast under the wheel strike simultaneous blows and give 3–10 times the closing force of standard handwheels. Impactor handwheels are supplied at manufacturer’s option unless specified by customer.

Design Features

Impact handwheel be adopted according to Oilway or customer requirements
The connection surface between body and bonnet is concave and convex type, that valve rating from 150LB- to 600LB. The connection surface between body and bonnet is concave type, that valve rating from 900LB and above, or 600LB according to customer requirements
The stem design has a tapered upper sealing surface, which is sealed with the back seat on the bonnet when valve be fully opened.
The standard design of the bonnet is plunger type, we can also provide ball type, parabola or flat type ,according to customer requirements
The sealing surface of seat is spray welded with STL 6 cobalt-based hard alloy, the seat can be fixed by welding, or be threaded as customer’ s requirement.
